Colin Hayes

MD: - Valuations, Property Management and Legal issues

Colin is co-owner and Managing Director of Stuarts. Overseeing all of the legal aspects of the business as well as being the face of the company, Colin has continuously built excellent relationships with all of our clients and has over 30 years of experience in the industry. With knowledge of all aspects of the business, Colin is often the ‘go to’ man for any queries regarding letting and property management. Colin is a driven individual with a strong belief in honest, plain talking; effective management of property, Colin has brought together a team of staff with the same ethos who can deliver his vision for constant improvement and wealth creation for customers.


Clare Hayes

Co Secretary:- Accounts and Administration

Clare is co-owner of the company and company secretary, married to Colin for 19 years she has worked at Stuarts for 15 years. Clare regards herself as a good administrator and placing great emphasis on customer service, she has established great relationships with many landlords and tenants over the years, looking after their properties and finances with great affection. Clare has a ‘can do’ attitude and trains the staff to mirror this ethos within the company. Her charity work is her passion outside of work and she is an ambassador of CRUK having been gifted the Flame of Hope award for her efforts. Clare always strives to improve the business by developing and implementing new systems and procedures that keep Stuarts one step ahead within the industry.

Amanda Adams

Office Manager & Accounts Administrator

Amanda is the most loyal member of Stuarts that we could have wished for. Amanda started in the marketing department working part time whilst raising her children and now works as Office and Accounts manager at Stuarts.  Amanda is our dedicated vice-captain when Colin and Clare are absent and she has an exceptional impact on the business now and over the past 14 years of service. Working alongside Clare in the Accounts and Administration department, she constantly looks to develop and improve all aspects of the business whether this is assisting with marketing team, training staff or implementing new procedures to ensure better service to our clientele. Amanda is well renowned for her impeccable attention to detail and consistent high standards.

Margaret Griffiths

Inventory Administrator

Margaret is Stuarts inventory clerk and administrator. Covering a wide range of paperwork, Margaret is the reliable go to source for organisation and efficiency. Having been with us for 6 years, our landlords and tenants can be assured that any paperwork is in the safest of hands. With a wealth of experience and such a positive attitude to moving with the times, clients can be assured of an efficient and well-done job. Her attention to detail and persistence of completing a task to its end is one of her many strengths. Margaret’s ability to remain calm whilst dealing with property repair issues is accredited to her lovely nature and she assures both landlords and tenants of her commitment to getting the repairs completed within reasonable timescales.

Lettings Negotiator

Stuarts are delighted to have their very own Lewis Hamilton who within days of being with us began to drive things forward; Lewis started with Stuarts in January 2017 as an apprentice and has already won an Apprentice of the Month award from his training provider for being so engaged with the business. Lewis has already built fantastic relationships with many of our clients in his short time here and his highly efficient ‘will do’ mentality has massively contributed to the business since his arrival. The addition of youth has been a huge asset to Stuarts and Lewis prides himself on developing the digital and social media aspect of the business which he does with enthusiasm and passion.

Jack Hayes

Marketing Administrator

Jack is the son of owners Colin and Clare and is the newest addition to the full time team having worked as our Saturday person at Stuarts. He is now thoroughly enjoying his role within the business of developing marketing and advertising which is his strength having studied business and marketing at college. Jack is a personable character who enjoys negotiating deals for the business and has already made a positive impact. His customer service skills put clients at ease and he has an ability to engage with clients at all levels. Jack’s communication skills and his ability to be self-motivated is a credit to him. He is dedicated and interested in the business although his personal ambition is to follow his flying career one day. 





Gordon Nixon

Maintenance Operative

Gordon joined the Stuarts team in May 2015 as our part-time maintenance operative.  Gordon is a time served joiner with experience in the window fitting industry too and has a wealth of experience at general property maintenance offering a cost effective service to our clients.  Gordon is a conscientious and hard worker who is always polite to our customers and quietly works away until the job is completed to satisfaction.
