Digitally signing tenancy agreements is the way forward !

Whilst technology is a wonderful thing, learning how to use it sometimes proves to be a little more difficult. We have therefore produced a YouTube video to demonstrate how you can learn to digitally sign the paperwork sent by us to you. Click HERE

It is all automatic and we get notification as soon as you have signed the document.  It then automatically passes the document to the next person to sign whether that be another tenant, the guarantor or back to us to countersign.  We keep a close eye on all documents in process and are able to guide you if required.  Once all parties have signed, you will receive a finalised copy via email and this is for your safekeeping.

IMPORTANT : Tenancy agreements and agency agreements are  legal documents.  You must therefore read all pages before signing and completing the document online.

Digital signing is a modern, fast and secure way of signing documents and it can be done anywhere at any time on any device which makes it really convenient for all clients.  

We use a company called DocuSign and they claim to have over 100 million users worldwide and state “DocuSign is the most reliable and globally trusted service for electronic signatures and approvals.”

Advantages:-

  • It’s secure.  DocuSign meets the most rigorous security industry certification standards, and uses the strongest commercially available data encryption technologies available. DocuSign systems and processes exceeds industry best practices for data protection for data transmission and secure storage.  A certificate is produced with full verification details and kept on file.
  • It’s fast .  By signing digitally, it speeds the process of signing documents by having them delivered electronically there is no waiting around for the postman then having to remember to get a stamp to post it back.  It is all done from your computer whether this is a laptop, mobile device or tablet.   
  • It’s convenient.  If your partner or other other tenants are not with you, you can all sign it digitally no matter where you are.  This really assists those that work away from home or if their guarantor lives in a different part of the UK.
