What an email to receive today! We at Stuarts Property Services Ltd are delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the FSB Greater Manchester Business Awards 2017 where winners will be announced at the awards ceremony held at the Hilton, Deansgate on Thursday 30th November 2017.
We have been selected as FINALISTS in the ‘Family Business of the Year’ section of the awards and we look forward to attending the awards ceremony to fly the flag of Stuarts Property Services at such a prestigious occasion where all full time members of staff will be treated to a lovely evening of food and entertainment at the Hilton in Manchester before the awards ceremony.
Colin and Clare, directors of the business have worked tremendously hard over the years to build the company to such professional levels and are delighted to be selected as finalists in this wonderful award. Colin says “It is wonderful to have been selected as a finalists by the judges at FSB. We engaged with FSB very soon after taking ownership of the company and they have been instrumental in providing us with guidance and assistance over the years in a variety of aspects of our business; it is a delight to be recognised by them as a contender. All of the team work extremely hard to ensure that we give 100% to our clients whether landlords or tenants and not being conceited, we know we offer a wonderful and thorough service to our clientele, but we’re just not too good at shouting from the rooftops as to HOW good we are, so this nomination (and award hopefully!) will take us on a new adventure and hopefully encourage more clients to sample our high service levels”.
All of the team here at Stuarts are dedicated to the company, none less than Amanda who has worked for Stuarts for the past 14 years now. Amanda’s dedication and service is incredible and this nomination feels personal to her too. She is proud of how Stuarts Property Services has developed and grown in the years that she has been working here, but she indeed has been a big driving force of this and it is a delight to share the event with Amanda so show some appreciation of how she fits into the family of Stuarts. Her son Tom may even bake another celebratory cake if we win! Amanda says of the nomination “I’m so proud that Stuarts are getting some recognition for their hard work, I feel very lucky to work for such a great family run business who have been so supportive of me whilst bringing up the children, it is a pleasure to see them being nominated for such an award in return for what they give to the employees here, it really is a pleasure to come to work each day”.
Margaret is ‘mum’ of Stuarts; she keeps us all in good health with her herbal remedies to keep colds at bay and her astonishing administration within the business is truly incredible. Margaret has been with us for six years already and her steadfastness to procedures and systems whilst constantly developing them does not go unrecognised. You only have to read our google reviews to see how well thought of Margaret is to our clientele and to ourselves too. She too is as delighted as the rest of us to hear of our nomination to the FSB Greater Manchester and North Cheshire Awards and looks forward to a night of celebration on 30th November with fingers crossed under the table for us to win the final award.
Our apprentice Lewis Hamilton has already won ‘Apprentice of the month’ from his training provider Damar in August this year and is delighted to be attending such an event in November where he can learn new networking and social skills within the business environment. Lewis has enthusiasm for the whole team within one hand and it is this enthusiasm that has boosted us to begin to shout out about how good we are at our profession. Clients often praise Lewis for his professionalism and eagerness to help. This is an accolade to both him and to Stuarts Property Services for supporting him in his apprenticeship and beyond; we have high hopes for Lewis and expect him to reach his goal of being a property tycoon in years to come.
