Having reached the final shortlist for Family Business Of The Year at the annual FSB awards, hopes were high!
However the dream was not to be as FAB Ltd edged us to the win in what was a fantastic evening at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester. The winners aren’t to be found anywhere online, however we congratulate them on their success over the last year.
We began the night with a sophisticated visit to Cloud 23, a 23rd floor sky-bar overlooking Manchester from every angle. if you have not experienced this, then please do as the views are breath-taking. We proceeded into the Deansgate Suite to our allocated table, decorated with personal name badges and company cards. Following a few introductions from the evenings compere; comedian Andrew Maxwell the night began. With a fantastic speech from Manchester Mayor; Andy Burnham the night was underway.
A lovely three-course meal was served to all in attendance by the excellent Hilton staff, whom could not do enough for anyone, huge credit deserved! Following the meal, the awards commenced…
There were 23 awards handed out on the night, with our Family Business of the Year award eleventh in the list, meaning a lot of anxiously waiting around in anticipation. It soon came round and despite our best efforts, we did not win. However, we had a lovely evening, spent with our amazing team here at Stuarts. Special thanks for all the work put in by staff at the Hilton. Finally a big congratulations to all who attended. Best of luck for the upcoming year ahead.
