Lewis Hamilton – Student of the month
We are delighted and very proud to announce that our apprentice Lewis Hamilton has today been awarded Student of the Month from his training provider Damar Training.
Lewis Hamilton, apprentice at Stuarts Property Services was presented with his certificate by Robin Lindsay, Operations Director at Damar. Robin Lindsay quotes “The choices made by young people at the start of their careers will shape their entire futures” and was delighted to highlight to Lewis that he had been selected from over 1500 apprentices nationwide to receive this award. It is not only down to his excellent choice of becoming an apprentice in the first instance, but by embracing the apprenticeship at Stuarts Property Services Ltd and working really hard all year to develop his skills both in the workplace and also by completing his apprenticeship Level 2 in Business Administration.
The staff at Stuarts Property Services are delighted that Lewis has been chosen to receive this award. All members of staff have assisted Lewis in his role as apprentice and have embraced apprenticeships within the business as a proactive way forward for both the business and youngsters that do not want to continue at college or university but see the value in developing their academia and gaining further recognised certification which is nationally recognised. Lewis is a delight to have in the office and is already getting many compliments from our client base as to how he conducts himself within the business environment. Whether he is arranging a viewing for a prospective tenant, or speaking to landlords regarding property repairs, Lewis always gives 100% attention to the task in hand and this is why we are so proud that he has been recognised for his efforts. He now has set his target to win Student of the Year ! He always looks to put himself in pole position and drive himself forward (sorry – couldn’t resist the pun!)
Using the words of Robin from Damar; “The choices made by young people at the start of their careers will shape their entire futures”, we believe at Stuarts that encouraging young apprentices to evolve and discover their capabilities progresses them both personally and in the business environment and we take great pride in ensuring that they develop throughout their time with us here. Lewis has been offered and has accepted a full time job with us now and we look forward to working with him for many years to come and will always assist him in developing his business skills. Lewis quoted today “sow now what you hope to reap later” and this shows each day in his dedication to the job. It is wonderful to see such a young person so enthused in their work.
His trainer Katie Davies has been thrilled with Lewis’s level of commitment to achieving his Level 2 status and congratulated him on achieving this so quickly and efficiently. We had to keep quiet about his award for a good few weeks, but she too was delighted to see him achieve this Student of the month award and said that it was well deserved. Katie has worked hard alongside Lewis to achieve his level 2 in Business Administration and looks forward to assisting him achieve his level 3 next year which Stuarts Property Services are happy to support.
